WOMEN'S MINISTRIES

        WOMEN  -  Provide relevant ministries for and to women that reach out to women.

          Joy  Girls   -   Barbara Beugelaar

The Joy Girls are a group of ladies who visit  three of the Rowethorpe Hostels, two to three times each month on a Wednesday afternoon, to bring joy in song to the Aged Care Hostels.

Joy  -  sharing and being a blessing is our aim.

Others  -  focusing on the people we visit in the Aged Care Hostels  -  not on ourselves.

You  -  can be a ‘joy girl’.  Join us as a singer or a friend.

God Thought  -  we all take a turn to share a brief thought for the day and follow it with a well-known hymn.

Individuals  -  we take time to talk to the residents one by one, to get to know them and to make their day better.

Rowethorpe Hostels  -  Cygnet, Hilltop and John Wesley are the homes we visit two to three times each month on a Wednesday afternoon.

Love  -  is what we want to give them  -  our love and, more importantly,  God’s love.

Sing  -  yes we sing and really enjoy singing, though not professionally. 

And the residents sing along with us – lots of the old songs and       hymns they know so well.

              Women Interested IN Growing and Sharing  Time....to Think, to Talk, to Make Friends.

              Young children who come with mum will be lovingly cared for.

              Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday  (School Terms)   9.30am

              With Christ as our source and enabler, we, as women, purpose to connect with each

              other, intentionally designing to grow into the fulfillment of the purpose for which God

              created us.
